In response to her poem, here below is my poem December Snow. This is a first draft. But it gives you the idea. And it’s what I was thinking about walking home from downtown this afternoon – new fresh clean snow on the ground from yesterday and the temperature a nippy minus 6 C.
everything today; slowly
gifts of us
while crows flap around,
on a white orchestral score —
their Hallelujah chorusing like
